Landscapes

This exhibition features the artwork of six regional Queensland based artists. The artists are exploring; movement, light, colour, form and contrast, as they capture the essence of the landscapes that inspire and surround them. Jennifer Kenny and Jacqui Read are responding to a change in landscape, both having relocated from other areas. Adrienne Williams is presenting a body of work developed during her time as artist in residence at Bundanon in Southern NSW. Amanda Van Gils oil paintings capture the fleeting images of landscapes as seen during a road trip. Ainslie McMahonsand Veronika Zeils artworks encourage the viewer to contemplate the sublime in nature as well as the many questions arising from our land use.
