Exhibition Spaces
The Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery houses three very unique exhibition spaces. The main space on the Ground Floor is used for major solo, group shows or touring exhibitions. The Vault is a contemporary art space that triggers the imagination of both artists and visitors alike, and exhibits contemporary installation exhibitions. The exhibition space located on the second floor, is primarily used as an emerging space for local artists and group shows.
the Vault
The Vault is a converted 1920's bank vault. It is ideal for installation based work. The concrete walls that make up the Vault's perimeter harness various acoustic possibilities. The space is comprised of a low entrance doorway, white tiles and is in two sections with the front section being slightly smaller then the second. The Vault is a unique space, rare in any gallery, offering artists a unique opportunity.
